When coaching children, you have to be patient. I tutor children and high school students, so I know that there is a big difference with how fast they understand the lessons I give them. When it comes to children, I take my time and make sure that they really understand what I am teaching them. It is more challenging to teach children because they are easily distracted. One of the ways I find effective when it comes to coaching children is to give them a reward right after every lesson, so that they have something to look forward to after each lesson, which then makes them motivated to finish lesson after lesson.
